Remembering our Founder Teri Gant came from a background of poverty, dysfunction, low self worth, low self esteem, depression and abuse. She accepted Jesus into her life and heart at the age of 24, but continued to battle with depression for years.
After completely surrendering her life to the Lord, in a deeper way than ever before, the Lord touched her life in a powerful way. Completely healing her in her body, spirit, mind and emotions. No more depression, no more migraines, no more sadness!! After spending a year seeking His face, in a place of complete surrender and intimacy, The Father's Heart was birthed, and the Lord set her feet firmly in the direction of touching and serving other hurting and depressed people.
The Father’s Heart Street Ministry operates out of a 5000 sq. ft.in a Oregon City facility and Teri spends her life serving Jesus through feeding the hungry and giving clothing to the homeless. Loving all just where they are, with the powerful supernatural love of Jesus flowing in her, through her, and out of her touching others. Teri spent her early years tramping under bridges, down muddy paths looking for the homeless, just so she could share the love of Jesus with them through her actions.
Today, her passion continues, as she opens her doors every morning to the homeless to come into TFH as a safe refuge, where they rest, shower, sleep, eat a warm meal and rest in the peaceful presence of the Lord. Still sending her street teams of volunteers to the street delivering warmth and food.
“When I see them (the homeless, addicted, alcoholic, prostitutes), I see Jesus and fall madly in love with them.” In Matthew 25, Jesus said...When you do this to the least of these, you do it to me…

The Father’s Heart Street Ministry is more than just a Day Center in Oregon City.
Our goal is to help men and women find a safe refuge from homelessness, hunger and addiction.
